Looks like this is happening for many games, not just Fluxx. (I just tried BarsoomGo.)I suspect this is because we're using an old version of Batik, the SVG rendering library. I don't know when I'll have a chance to rebuild it, though. I apologize.

The appropriate daemon has been restarted. It should work now.The reason that newcomers were seeing the error, but not regulars, is this: the dead service is (among other things) responsible for telling your client where to fetch the graphics files that make up the game. If you've played before, your client already has those files cached, so it skips that step and goes straight into play mode.(There's a "clear cache" option in the debug menu, if you want to reset it manually.)

Zymb should be usable, and yes, RPCClience is the module you want. However, you'll need to download the zymb source code from the SVN repository. ( http://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=svn&group_id=91751 ) There's a bug fix in there that isn't on my web site.The rpcserver.py example is a starting point for setting up and connecting to Jabber.

By the way: if this happens to you, I'd really appreciate a screenshot of the game immediately after the Event.I realize that it's rare enough that the intersection of people who see the problem, and people who see this message, will probably be zero. But I'm asking anyhow.
