Devchat
The Volity Network's devchat is a simple chat room that, during the Network's present beta-test period, acts as the central meeting place for Volity players and developers. It available all day and every day, though it is presently most active after work-hours in the eastern U.S. time zone.
You can find a link to the devchat in the game finder window, at the bottom of
every page. You can also visit it by clicking
here, or by visiting the Jabber address
devchat@conference.volity.net with Gamut (via the
Chat→Join Multi-User Chat... menu command) or with any
Jabber-capable IM client (such as Gaim or Trillian).
