Using a Volity ID from elsewhere

We welcome the use of Volity IDs that come from other Jabber-using domains. You can already use an existing Jabber ID to play games via Gamut, but using that same ID with this website takes a few extra steps, as listed below.

(Note: You can always create a new Volity ID at volity.net instead, even if you've already been using another Jabber ID with Gamut. If you do, however, any game records you may have accumulated under the older ID won't transfer over.)

  1. With Gamut or another Jabber client (such as GTalk or iChat), log into your Jabber account.
  2. Type in your Jabber ID here, and click the Submit button:
  3. You will receive a URL from webadmin@volity.net as a Jabber message. Visit this URL, and proceed from there.
